KRiBSI individual opinion – request for a position on the AI Act
From 28 October 2026 the Polish Commission for the Development and Safety of Artificial Intelligence issues individual opinions on applying the AI Act. We prepare the request so that the opinion actually protects your company.
Key rules
- One issue per request: an exhaustive description of facts or a future event and the applicant's own legal assessment (Article 9(3) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
- Fee of PLN 150 paid before filing (Article 11(1) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
- Opinion within 30 days, or 60 days in particularly complex cases (Article 12(1) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
- No opinion on time means an opinion consistent with the applicant's position (Article 12(3) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
- Following the opinion before it is changed or revoked cannot harm the applicant (Article 15(5) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
Frequently asked questions
How much does a KRiBSI individual opinion cost?
The filing fee is PLN 150 (Article 11(1) of the Polish Act on AI systems). It is refunded, among others, if the Commission misses the deadline (Article 11(4)(3) of the Polish Act on AI systems).
